It is the Procurement Department because it places purchasing orders to the suppliers or it is the Product Department because it submitted purchase request to Procurement Department?!👈👈👈Accounting Department won’t recognize the Accounts Payable until they see the [inspection and acceptance responsible department(s)] ‘s approval 👈👉Hence, in your company/organization, which department has the work responsibility for inspecting and acceptance confirmation?! And, you are right, when companies are doing e-workflow development, it needs companies’ these work roles and responsibilities’ definition to define the e-work processes.

-   Legal Department: Contracts Management Procedure.

-   Procurement Department: Group Central Procurement Policy ; they are but not limited to the rules of allowing subsidiaries to define their own annual legal counsels, certified accountants or advertising agencies or they must be selected by HQ, and, it defines the decision makers are Procurement Department or Departments which are doing the work.


-   Treasury Department: Investments Procedure, Financing Procedure, Petty Cash Management; it contains but not limited to defining the way to submit request and situation with conditions, it also explains Treasury Department is the Controller of the list of petty cash custodians of the company etc.

-   Design Department, Mechanical Design Department: (Mechanical)Designing and Confirmation Work Procedure; it usually encounters issues on the work roles and responsibilities allocation and the rights of approval for the design confirmation.
